Unprotected contact (such as failure to wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, goggles and lab coat) should be avoided at all times to prevent health problems. Always consult the package insert and safety data sheet before use.
Use only in an appropriate, controlled chemical research environment or laboratory.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with chemical safety standards.
Keep out of reach of unauthorized persons and minors.
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to every offer of chemicalshoppers.com and every agreement concluded between chemicalshoppers.com and the consumer. The conditions are publicly available and can be found on the website of chemicalshoppers.com. Upon request, we will send you a written copy.
1.2 By placing an order, you agree to the delivery and payment terms. chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to change its delivery and/or payment terms after the term has expired.
1.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, general or specific conditions or stipulations of third parties are not recognized by chemicalshoppers.com.
1.4 chemicalshoppers.com guarantees that the delivered product complies with the agreement and meets the specifications stated in the offer.
Delivery
2.1 Delivery is made while supplies last.
2.2 Under the rules of distance selling, chemicalshoppers.net will fulfill orders within 30 days, unless another delivery period is agreed.
If delivery within 30 days or the otherwise agreed delivery period is not possible (because the item ordered is out of stock or no longer available), or there is a delay for other reasons, or an order cannot or can only be partially carried out, the consumer will be notified within one month of placing the order and in that case has the right to cancel the order without cost and notice.
2.3 The delivery obligation of chemicalshoppers.net will, unless proven otherwise, be fulfilled once the goods delivered by chemicalshoppers.com have been offered once to the customer. In case of home delivery, the report of the carrier, containing the refusal of acceptance, serves as full proof of the offer to deliver.
2.4 All delivery times mentioned on the website are indicative. No rights can therefore be derived from these delivery times.
2.5 We do not ship to forwarding addresses. If you do use a forwarding address, your package may be cancelled. If your package is lost at a forwarding address, we cannot help you.
2.6 You are responsible for providing a correct address at checkout. If the address is incorrect due to the customer's actions, the additional charges will be borne by the customer.
Prices
3.1 Prices will not be increased within the term of the offer, unless legal measures make it necessary or if the manufacturer implements interim price increases.
3.2 All prices on the website are subject to printing and typesetting errors. We accept no liability for the consequences of printing and typesetting errors.
3.3 All prices on the website are in euros and include 21% VAT.
Return period / Right of withdrawal
4.1 In case of a consumer purchase, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (Article 7:5 of the Dutch Civil Code), the buyer has the right to return (part of) the delivered goods within 14 working days without giving reasons. This period starts when the order is delivered.
If the buyer wishes to cancel the order after it has been placed, he can let us know by e-mail or through the contact form.
If chemicalshoppers.com is notified in a timely manner and the order has not yet been processed, professor.net will refund the full amount to the customer and cancel the order. If chemicalshoppers.net has already processed the order, chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to charge a processing fee.
Before returning the item, the buyer must notify chemicalshoppers.com in writing of his/her return wish within 14 business days of receipt. chemicalshoppers.com will then provide clear instructions.
If the buyer has not given notice within the 14-day cooling-off period after receipt, the legal right of return expires and the purchase is final.
During the reflection period, the consumer will handle the product and its packaging with care. He/she will only unpack the product to the extent necessary to assess the nature and characteristics of the product, if he/she wishes to exercise his/her right of withdrawal.
The buyer must prove that the delivered goods were returned in a timely manner, such as by a proof of shipment. Since it is not possible to prove what was in the shipment, chemicalshoppers.com cannot issue a refund based on a shipping receipt.
Returns must be in the original packaging (incl.In case of damage in any way, chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to charge any depreciation in value.
Subject to the previous sentence, chemicalshoppers.com will refund you within 14 days of receipt of the return.
If the purchase is returned unopened, in accordance with chemicalshoppers.com's instructions, the purchase price excluding a €15 administration and processing fee will be refunded to the buyer.
If you return only part of the purchases received, only the purchase amount of the returned items will be refunded. Please note that a €15 administration/processing fee will also be charged.
Additional costs resulting from a more expensive shipping method than the cheapest standard delivery will never be refunded. The return of delivered items is entirely at the expense and risk of the buyer.
4.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
Service contracts, after full performance of the service, and only when performance has begun with the express prior consent of the consumer and the consumer has declared that he loses his right of withdrawal once chemicalshoppers.com has fully performed the contract;
Goods or services whose price is subject to fluctuations in the financial market over which the supplier has no control and which may occur within the withdrawal period.
Goods manufactured to the consumer's specifications, such as custom-made, or of a distinctly personal nature.
Products with limited shelf life (3 months or less) or whose shelf life has expired within the 14-day cooling-off period (spoilage).
Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery.
Data management / Privacy
5.1 If you place an order with chemicalshoppers.com, your information will be included in the customer database of chemicalshoppers.com. chemicalshoppers.com adheres to the Data Protection Act and will not provide your information to third parties. Please see our AVG | Privacy Policy.
5.2 chemicalshoppers.com respects the privacy of website users and ensures that your personal data is treated confidentially.
5.3 chemicalshoppers.com sometimes uses a mailing list. Each mailing contains instructions on how to unsubscribe yourself from this list.
Warranty / Complaints and conformity
6.1 chemicalshoppers.com guarantees that the products and / or services meet the agreement, the specifications listed in the offer, the reasonable requirements of reliability and / or usability and the on the date of the conclusion of the agreement existing legal provisions and / or government regulations.
6.2 A guarantee provided by chemicalshoppers.com, the manufacturer or importer does not affect the rights and claims that the consumer in respect of a shortcoming in the fulfillment of the obligations of chemicalshoppers.com towards the buyer may assert under the law and/or the distance agreement.
6.3 If it appears that the delivered goods are incorrect, defective or incomplete, the buyer must (before returning the goods to chemicalshoppers.com) report these defects to chemicalshoppers.com in writing within 30 days of receipt, after discovery of the defect.
Returns must be made in the original packaging (including accessories and accompanying documentation). If the delivered item was opened and incomplete before the defect was discovered, damaged after the discovery of the defect, or encumbered and/or resold after the discovery of the defect, this right to claim and return lapses in full.
6.4 If customer complaints are found by chemicalshoppers.com to be justified, chemicalshoppers.com will repair, reship or replace the delivered goods free of charge.
The liability of chemicalshoppers.com for damages is limited to the invoice amount of the goods in question, or (at Professor.com's discretion) to the maximum amount covered by Professor.com's liability insurance in the case in question. Any liability of Professor.com for any other form of damage is excluded, including additional compensation in any form whatsoever, compensation for indirect or consequential damage or damage due to lost profits.
6.5 Supplement - Complaint Resolution
Complaints about the performance of the agreement must be submitted to Professor.com fully and clearly described within 7 days after the consumer has identified the defects.
Complaints submitted to Professor.com will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, chemicalshoppers.com will respond within the 14-day period with a notice of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed response.
If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises that is amenable to the dispute resolution process.
For complaints, the consumer should first turn to chemicalshoppers.com. For complaints that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer should turn to Stichting WebwinkelKeur (webwinkelkeur.nl), which will mediate free of charge. by Stichting WebwinkelKeur; their decision is binding.
Both chemicalshoppers.com and the buyer agree to this binding decision. There are costs associated with submitting a dispute to this dispute committee, which the consumer must pay to the relevant committee. Complaints can also be submitted via the European ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/odr).
A complaint does not suspend the obligations of chemicalshoppers.com unless chemicalshoppers.com indicates otherwise in writing. If chemicalshoppers.com considers a complaint justified, chemicalshoppers.com will, at its option, replace the delivered products free of charge.
6.6 chemicalshoppers.com is not liable for damage caused by intent or equivalent deliberate recklessness of non-managerial personnel. This guarantee does not apply if:
and as long as the buyer is in default to chemicalshoppers.com;
the buyer has processed the delivered goods himself or has had them processed and/or approved by third parties. the delivered goods have been exposed to abnormal conditions, have been treated carelessly or are contrary to the instructions of chemicalshoppers.com and/or the instructions for use on the packaging; including, but not limited to, storage in a cool, dry place.
Offers
7.1 Offers are without obligation unless otherwise stated in the offer.
7.2 If buyer accepts a non-binding offer, chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to revoke or depart from the offer within 3 working days of receiving acceptance.
7.3 Verbal commitments shall bind chemicalshoppers.com only after they have been expressly confirmed in writing.
7.4 Offers from chemicalshoppers.com do not automatically apply to repeat orders.
7.5 chemicalshoppers.com cannot be held to its offer if the buyer should have understood that the offer, or any part thereof, contained an obvious mistake or typographical error.
7.6 Additions, modifications and/or further agreements are valid only if agreed in writing.
Agreement
8.1 An agreement between chemicalshoppers.com and a customer is established after an order has been assessed for feasibility by chemicalshoppers.com.
8.2 chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to refuse orders or assignments without giving reasons or to accept them only under certain conditions.
If chemicalshoppers.com is notified in any way that the buyer is not respecting or complying with the safety requirements of the goods offered on the site, chemicalshoppers.com is obligated to block the buyer's account and refuse or refund further transactions in the future.
Images and specifications
9.1 All images, photographs, drawings, texts, etc., including information on weights, dimensions, colors, images of labels, etc. on the Professor.co.uk website are approximate only, are indicative and cannot give rise to compensation or dissolution of the agreement. These are also protected by copyright. Copying is prohibited.
Force majeure
10.1 chemicalshoppers.com is not liable if and to the extent that its obligations cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure.
10.2 Force majeure means any external cause, as well as any circumstance that should not reasonably be at our risk.
Delay in or failure to perform by our suppliers, internet disruptions, power failures, e-mail failures, failures or changes in technology provided by third parties, transportation difficulties, strikes, government measures, delays in delivery, negligence by suppliers and/or manufacturers of chemicalshoppers.com as well as their auxiliaries, illness of personnel and defects in auxiliary or transport means are expressly considered force majeure.
10.3 In the event of force majeure chemicalshoppers.com reserves the right to suspend its obligations and is also entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to demand that the content of the agreement be amended in such a way that fulfilment remains possible. Chemicalshoppers.com shall in no case be obliged to pay any penalty or damages.
10.4 If Chemicalshoppers.com has already partially fulfilled its obligations when force majeure occurs, or can only partially fulfil its obligations, it shall be entitled to invoice the part already delivered or the deliverable part separately and the buyer shall be obliged to pay this invoice as if it were a separate contract. However, this does not apply if the part already delivered or the deliverable part has no independent value.
Liability
11.1 Chemicalshoppers.com is not liable for damage to items caused by improper use of the products. Before use, please read the instructions on the packaging and/or consult our website.
Retention of title
12.1 The ownership of all goods sold and delivered by chemicalshoppers.com to the buyer will remain with chemicalshoppers.com as long as the buyer has not paid the claims of chemicalshoppers.com under the agreement or previous or subsequent similar agreements, as long as the buyer has not paid the work done or costs, all this as referred to in article 3:92 BW.
12.2 Goods delivered by chemicalshoppers.com which are subject to retention of title may only be sold on as part of normal business operations and may never be used as a means of payment.
12.3 The buyer is not authorized to pledge or otherwise encumber the items subject to retention of title.
12.4 The buyer hereby unconditionally and irrevocably authorizes chemicalshoppers.com or a third party designated by chemicalshoppers.com to enter all those places where its property will be located and to take those items with it in all cases where chemicalshoppers.com wants to exercise its property rights.
12.5 If third parties seize goods delivered under retention of title or wish to establish or assert rights to them, the buyer is obliged to inform chemicalshoppers.com as soon as can reasonably be expected.
Applicable law/competent court
13.1 All agreements shall be governed by Dutch law.
13.2 Disputes, arising from an agreement between chemicalshoppers.com and buyer, which can not be resolved amicably, shall be settled by the competent court within the district of Rotterdam, unless Professor.com prefers to submit the dispute to the competent court of the residence of the buyer, and with the exception of those disputes that fall under the jurisdiction of the district judge.
Although we do our best to offer good products at a fair price and provide you with excellent service, there is always the possibility that you may have a complaint about our service.
We therefore request that if you have a complaint, please let us know via our contact form. We believe that every complaint is reason to improve our services and is therefore solvable.
